Getting the front elevation right… Finally getting this dialed in, drain tile insulated allows me to have less material across the front. I’ll bring in a load of D-1 for the top and clean up the other pads next spring. If I do it now, it’ll just get pushed around plowing.

Set both of the beveled end blocks today...
Just doing what I can as the world turns…. Now we can backfill, get rid of the small rocks, add some D-1 grade the slope and be ready for winter.

Lots of clean-up to do soon…..
After the heavy snow a few weeks ago lots of branches were weighted down and snapped, now they are hanging dangerously. Rod and Bob are coming up early this year to help me get this place cleaned up.

Who decided dandelions are weeds?
I cut this grass 3 days ago, must grow about an inch a day. I don’t want to mow over the dandelions, but……I’ll have to, or the grass will be ridiculous.

Rod is catching the Halibut…… Rod and Bob seem to be catching most days they go out, needless to say the halibut are coming in.

Thought it was going away…… I have to hand shovel this, since the gravel was thawed and loose. With the plow truck I’d be pushing too much gravel around.
