Progress cutting Alders

I took advantage of the beautiful weather Friday and managed to make good progress on cutting Alders and opening up more view. Some of these Alders are right at the slope of the ravine getting pretty high up there for me to reach with the chainsaw. I bought the smallest saw Stihl makes just for this purpose so it’s not that heavy. The next two subjects are the old Birch on the right and the rest of that Alder leaning to the right. The trees are all busy budding and putting on leaves, I can only hope the weather improves and I can get back out there, I am a fair weather worker these days!
