Lots of Lights

Lots of Lights

Lots of Lights on the trees in the park on 5th Avenue downtown Anchorage. Little off subject of the RV Sites, but I went to Anchorage this morning and on the way to breakfast at Snow-City cafe I drove by the park and had to take this shot. I love the Holidays, especially the lights. The building in the background is a perfect example of us Humans blocking out the natural light all day then artificially re-lighting the inside with the wrong kind of light, that has even been proven to be less than beneficial to our health

While not much visual on the ramp sections  until the lower tides allow lower work, there is detail work going on. I think I even see a partial roll of material submerged at the right side of the picture above, probably waiting to be rolled out further and covered with that custom crushed rock. The work goes on along the sides and preparing for the dock,  I was looking around trying to find the dock components, they must be concrete too.

So just ahead of the car in the picture above is the setting for two RV Sites, pretty nice spot. I did get the 6″x 6″ post and frame with the mailbox up. Hui Ha! I took the picture out my RV window where I’m setting temporarily in the extra parking space. It’s very muddy around here, mostly clay and topsoil not much rock or sand, but rich and lush not like some of the Countries I’ve been hearing so much about lately….not complaining!
